Domestic Assistant

Location: Betchworth

Hours: 40 hours required (7am to 7pm or 8am to 4pm)

We have an excellent opportunity to join our clients TEAM working as a Domestic Assistant in a Care Home in Betchworth

To provide a high standard of hospitality, cleaning and laundry within the home for our residents, visitors and colleagues. The post holder must maintain standards as required in adherence to the Company’s policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with infection control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Working under the guidance of the Head Housekeeper, your responsibilities include following daily and deep cleaning schedules, using cleaning equipment safely, and promptly reporting defects or hazards.

You will process laundry, sort items for washing and ironing, and ensure proper storage of linen. Additionally, you may perform minor repairs to residents’ clothing and adhere to the Care Centre’s Health & Safety policy. Your proactive approach in reporting any issues to the Home Manager or designated personnel ensures a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff alike.
