Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex Salary/Rate: £13 - £20/hour   Our client who provides quality care for older people in luxurious surroundings, is looking for chef on a 3 months contract. They are dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment where residents can enjoy a high standard of living and exceptional care. As an experienced Chef you will be providing high-quality meals for around 70 residents. This role is crucial in ensuring the residents enjoy nutritious and delicious meals every day. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals for approximately 70 residents, catering to various dietary requirements.
  • Work alongside another chef and kitchen assistants to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Ensure all meals are prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Plan and prepare menus in collaboration with the care home management.
  • Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a chef, preferably in a care home or similar setting.
  • Ability to cook a variety of meals, including those that meet specific dietary needs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service preferred.
  • Food Safety or Cooking Diploma required.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.

Night Warehouse Operative

  • Unload, scan, sort, and load parcels
  • Ensure the safe and swift journey of parcels through our network
Some parcels you will handle are large/heavy items, weighing up to 25kg. This is a physically demanding job, so you must be able to lift, load, and carry to perform your duties. Our clients' depots operate 365 days a year, and as part of our warehouse team, you will be required to work shifts. Hours and Days of Work:
  • Tuesday to Saturday: 1:00am to 9:30am
  • Sunday to Thursday: 1:00am to 9:30am
