Grounds Maintenance Operative

Location: Crawley and Horsham

Salary: From £27,000 to £29,000 per annum (plus overtime prospects)

Are you an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative with a passion for maintaining outdoor spaces? We are delighted to represent the Local Client in seeking a skilled individual to join thier team. Your role will involve contributing to the upkeep of public, commercial and residential sites in the Crawley and Horsham areas.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a team of Grounds Maintenance Operatives to ensure the highest standards of work across various commercial contracts.
• Perform general grounds maintenance tasks, including lawn cutting, litter picking, lawn mowing, and strimming.
• Supervise maintenance repairs to equipment, landscape structures, outdoor furniture, and walkways.
• Define lawn edges and maintain hedges.
• Contribute to the overall appearance and cleanliness of the grounds.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Grounds Maintenance Operative (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of grounds maintenance techniques and equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills.
